My doctoral work is at Quantifying Uncertainty in Engineering Science and Technology (Quest) lab, with Deepak N Subramani, focused on the probabilistic synoptic ocean prediction; we develop a data-driven feature model that combine ocean observations and numerical models to estimate the better physical ocean-fields of the Andaman Sea.

My master's work at IIT Bhubaneswar with Sourav Sil focused on "characteristics of mesoscale frontal eddies observed in northeast India coast by HF Radar currents and High-Resolution SST".

The work explored and addressed new observations of fronts and frontal eddies of the Western Boundary Current using quality-controlled High-Frequency Radar surface currents and high-resolution Multi Ultra Resolution Sea Surface Temperature in the Northeast Coast of India. Fronts along the Bay of Bengal are quantified using the Belkin O'Reilly algorithm.  Frontal contribute to the cross-shelf exchange of nutrients and mass, with implications for biological productivity along the East India coastlines. 

Awards

  • Chief Coordinator of the Rhapsody 2022. A first edition of IISc, Sports cultural and Tech Fest.

  • Elected member of IISc Student's Council 2021-22. 

  • Achieved the Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF) for the May 2019.

  • Received Silver Medal for highest GPA in Masters at IIT Bhubaneswar May 2019.

  • Competitive sponsorship from the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar to attend the American Geophysical Union, Washington, D.C., 10-14 Dec 2018.

  • Presented Bachelors Project in front of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Centre and won Best Application of the District- Chittoor in 2015.

  • Certified as a MICROSOFT CERTIFIED Professional in 2014.

  • FIRST prize in Debugging Competition in National Level Technical Fest MASHUP 2K14 held at which tested algorithms, C, C++, JAVA, and Python skills. Yoganandha Institute of Technology and Sciences (YITS), 14-15 Mar 2014.

  • FIRST prize with a C language Snake Game project in the C-Graphics competition at the National Level Technical Symposium held at Chadalawada Ramana Engineering College, Tirupathi, 13th Feb 2014 in which using C language graphics package to get an interactive environment to play Snake Game.

  • Gold Medalist in National Level Karate Championship in 2004, Chennai.
