I am a computational physical oceanographer broadly interested in the problems of ocean dynamics. The inherent multi-disciplinary nature of ocean physics has led me to gather research experience on a very broad range of topics – ocean circulation, mesoscale finer resolution ocean modeling, synoptic-scale ocean forecasting, assimilation of multi-scale, multi-disciplinary data sets from satellite and in-situ observations with numerical ocean models and deep learning framework.

The goal of my research is to build holistic science-based data-driven computational solutions to ocean weather and climate predictions of the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea.
